The One Bit Experience site is our side pet-project that we started several months ago. Our goal: to make a simple website that sparked both of our interests and imaginations to be used for our main homepage. Camile indulged herself in paints, colored papers, and glues to construct an imaginative landscape. And Leon spent most of his time photographing and re-constructing the images as a full-blown virtual world right inside the browser. We're still working on the site, but continue reading to take a look at our progress thus far.

Recently we've been constructing numerous experiments with paper and white paint for a potential future project. Some really interesting shapes and textures emerged. We're excited about them and thought you might like a quick looksee.

You're going to start seeing a lot of highland cattle (coo) around here because he's our official mascot. If you want the exaggerated story about why we chose the coo as our icon, here it is: They are strong, hardworking, and knowledgeable animals, like us! An awesome animal, with vibrant long, wavy pelts of red, yellow, or black. We're always amazed at how beautiful their orange long hair flows against the vibrant, green grass. Haha, but seriously, they look pretty coo and we're both born in the year of the ox so we have a natural affinity for bovine.

We've been working on what we call the One Bit Experience, a flash-driven website that'll replace our current homepage. Although we've made lots of progress since we started, we're probably not going to finish anytime soon. But here's a look at some preliminary design directions that we dug up.
